Glen is speaking at CASHE on Hospital Energy Efficiency
8 years ago
Glen Anderson was asked to speak to the Central Arizona Society for Healthcare Engineering (CASHE) at their September education event (09/14 @ 5 PM). Glen is well qualified to speak on this subject and has worked in numerous medical centers to optimize efficiency, improve equipment reliability while maintaining staff/patient comfort. He has 21 years of experience with analysis and optimization of chiller plant, building air and water-side HVAC systems, process cooling and refrigeration. He also has particular expertise in on-going commissioning using SkySpark to minimize performance drift.
Medical Centers are energy intensive and mission critical facilities, operating 24/7 to support the highest standards of patient care. They also have large and complex building support systems where energy efficiency measures can provide big savings ($ and kWh).
At this event, Glen will be sharing successful air flow strategies to address energy efficiency through VAV boxes and occupancy sensors. A key component to this strategy is how to maintain savings over time.
CASHE event details and registration are available at the CASHE website.
