Company History

For 28 years, ETC Group has been dedicated to providing “Energy Efficiency for a Sustainable Future.” We are experts at measuring, understanding and improving the performance of energy-using systems to waste less energy.

Energy Efficiency is what we DO!

Our definition of efficiency means providing the same or higher levels of service and occupant comfort with less energy use. Our experience with building systems allow us to pinpoint and address "hidden" efficiency opportunities which contribute to life cycle energy savings and reduced maintenance costs. Most are low to no-cost improvements.

We have very broad experience with utility incentive programs and are qualified service providers for the following utilities:

  • Pacific Power/Rocky Mountain Power
  • NV Energy
  • Salt River Project, Arizona Public Service and Tucson Electric Power
  • Idaho Power
  • Xcel Energy
  • Public Service Co. of New Mexico
  • CenterPoint Energy

We are also actively involved in ASHRAE and the US Green Building Council. We are Energy Star partners and founding members of the Climate Registry. We led the establishment of industrial energy efficiency programs for the state of Utah, establishing the DOE funded Utah Industries of the Future Program, as well as provide program support and technical assistance for the Colorado Industrial Energy Efficiency Challenge.
