ETC provides 2016 EDF Climate Corps Fellows Training
8 years ago
They invited us back! This week, Greg Schlegel, Jane Guyer and Jake MacArthur are in New York City conducting training on building energy management and efficiency for the 2016 EDF Climate Corps fellows. Our goal is to prepare fellows to identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency in the commercial space, perform financial analyses, become an effective change agent and create a lasting impact within their host organizations. In fact, Jake MacArthur (pictured below giving a tour of the Roosevelt Hotels AHU) is an alumni of the program who worked with REI.
EDF Climate Corps fellows are graduate students from top-tier universities with backgrounds in business, engineering, environmental management, corporate real estate and other relevant disciplines. They will work at a host organization (e.g. Yahoo, Caesars Entertainment, REI, etc.) for 10-12 weeks over the summer on a variety of project areas including finance and energy modeling, data analysis, employee engagement, energy management strategy, analysis of revenue potential and logistics. We salute the Climate Corps fellows and look forward seeing their energy efficiency implementation efforts for host organizations.
